Incoming CLID 2

Right now when someone calls, it displays the ACOD. How would I check and see if CLID is turned on our PBX?
We use MCI for local and ATT for LD/Toll.

How do you receive incoming calls? If you have DID service and copper lines you will need to convert to PRI service to get CLID. You would also need to review your packages to see if you can do it.

you can have clid inbound for t1 service, 1st you need the pkgs and the office has to send it.. trad x x on an inbound call to see if your getting clid before you beat your head against the wall to much

majority of calls come via our toll free. we also have did w/ mci.

Prt CEQU in LD 22 to see if T1's are PRI or TRK. Also PRT LTM in ld 21 to see if a T1 is used. What type of system is it Opt 11 or 51 to 81?

You would need to convert from TRK to PRI. That is the only way to get CLID for inbound calling. Talk to your vendors. If you do change make sure to do both LD T1's and Locals.

pre pri, i had clid working between a 81 and a dms switch, been 15 years so i assume it can still work. for the money, swap to pri's way better usage of bandwidth.. we have clid now on our old t1's, i didn't install them, but have replaced most of them with pri

I currently have 4 DTI/PRI cards in opt11c. Will i need more cards or can use those once i convert current t1 to pri.
