Hi,

I have a customer with a S8710 CM3.1.1 and they want to be able to stop/mask the caller CLI showing on some of the agent's station displays but show on others. Does anybody know of a way to do this or even if it is possible

Thanks

The way that I typically do this is through the public unknown numbering format assignments. This allows you to specify individual or ranges of extensions and the CLI sent across PRI trunks to the PSTN. Hope that helps.

Thanks

But isn't the public unknown numbering for outgoing CLI and not incoming into the switch. As I have already set this for sending correct CLI out

oh, someone else is asking the same thing. I'm asking to block incoming CLI to individual stations as well. No one seems to know how to do it but Avaya seems to think there's a way but can't back it up with documentation or instructions on how that is accomplished.
I tried doing it with "cha inc tru x" and specifying call-type "public-network" on the trunk group itself and changing BN/CPN to "none" for a particular extension as instructed, but that didn't work.
