Hi guys,

I have a set up in Germany and we are not used to work with this :).
We have some issue on incoming calls on the PRI. Some calls are not answered by the system
The voice provider says that they don't send the whole number in a block. This seems to be due to the german dialing plan that have multiple length number
Does anyone know if we can make a setup on IPO to wait some time before trying to match an ICR ?

Thanks !

Your post is confusing as you start talking about an incoming problem but then go on about enblock dialling?! Do you have two issues then?

For the outgoing, let’s assume you are using 9 for an outside line;

Code 9N
Feature Dial
TN N
LG 50

In ARS 50, set the following SC

Code N;
Feature Dial
TN .
LG 0

Assuming you have a dial delay of 3 seconds the system will wait for this time after the last digit before sending the call to the line.

Doesn't solve your issue, but in any system its always good to have a default ICR with the incoming field blank. That will actually match any incoming number for which there is no ICR that is a better match. At least it will stop you losing calls.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

@TheSmash, no I only talk about incoming calls. Voice provider does not send all digits in the same time ... It seems this is how it works on german PRI
@sizbut, yes this is a temp option but this doesn't solve my issue :)

I've seen German providers where they have a 10 digit DDI for example, but then lets you add additional digits afterwards to give you additional numbers. But I've never seen or heard of one sending partial numbers. How the hell are you supposed to route the call without the whole dial string?

That's my question ! I've asked the customer to see if it can be changed on the voice provider level !

We have 2 sites with PRI in Germany and neither have this odd issue. The IPO can only route passed on what it receives so tell the provider to send the whole DDI that has been called and not just part of it.

The voice provider (Deutch Telecom) says that is normal behavior on all German's PRI when call are coming from analog or ISDN circuit.
They say we should have the option to configure "overlap-receiving" ... I found an article on Cisco having the same issue :
I have raised a case but does anyone have a brilliant idea to solve this ? :)

You can play around with dial delay timer. It is used for inbound as well.

Hi guys,

I forget to update this thread. We finally manage to make this work.
We have to use local number (not national) in ICR instead of full international number and also prefix all DID with a '-'

Thanks for your help !
Cheers
