Hi Guys:

On my SIP trunks I can receive an incoming call, answer it and have 2 way audio. However, if that call goes to an auto attend, announcement or voicemail, the caller just gets dead air and does not hear the recording. any ideas??

Check the recordings.

Are they recorded...
Point a short code to the AA. And test it.

Leave a message internally and see if it works.

Is the sip trunk pointed to the AA.

Was it working before or did it just happen all of a sudden.

The recordings are working fine. The Sip trunk DID rings in and after 18 seconds goes to an queue announcement (No audio on the caller end) but then it drops to the music on hold which the caller can hear. If I dial in to one of the POTS lines it works fine, dialing internally works fine, only SIP trunks. They were working before and all of a sudden stopped.

Raise a ticket with line provider and go from there, most likely they made a change on their end which is now causing your issues

Did this ever work properly?
If you use IP phones, you may have a VCM issue
