We had a problem where we couldn't get any incomming calls. Everything looked good on our end. The DCH were up and channels were IDLE, but no calls could come in. I disabled the DCH so it would bounce to the back up then everything worked. I know there was a patch for 3.0, but we're on 4.5 and it was to be in the software after 4.0. Any ideas.

It could be a configuration issue at the far end. Not all carriers configure their switches the same and sometimes these issues pop up.

I seem to remember on Rls 4.0 there was a LoadWare Patch specifically for EuroISDN intermittent fails on timer expiry effecting incoming call SETUP's on the MSDL to resolve it Nortel issued a Loadware Patch MPLR18179

Depending on what system you have will determine the load process

Hope this helps

Cheers!!

I had a problem last year on a 4.5 on Euro were the calls were not comming in, DCH Trace showed nothing (No messaging at all), but when speaking to the provider they said they were getting a reject message from us after there setup message. Just dropped the MSDL did a FDL and brought it back up, all worked.

Don't know if thats your problem but worth a go.

kills me when a provider does that.. your not sending regect, but he is seeing it.. were you getting busy inbound? IF he was seeing reg on all channels, he would send atb back to the callers.,.

John Poole,

I have a question regarding a configuration. Any way to contact you off line?

Thanks!
