Incoming calls getting busy signal instead of auto attendant message have UM8000

We have SV8100 with a UM8000 voicemail system. We have a problem where our voicemail will just go offline. Incoming calls that should get an auto attendant message get a busy signal. Also if we try to call the voicemail system internally we get a busy signal. If we try to access through the ip address for the web interface get a message of cannot display web page. We try a system init 2 it does not come back up. We tried a power cycle and the voicemail card shows 2 red lights on the left hand side and a red and green flashing light on the right.

The weird thing is that one time when this happened it came back up over night by itself. Then another time we did a system init 2 and it came back up after awhile but the next day it went to factory defaults and we had to do an update first then a restore of the system.

Is this a problem on the card itself or is this a problem with programming and we just need to start from scratch?

There are a number of factors that may be affecting your VM system. As a user, the only thing you can safely do is a reset of the VM blade.
Possible issues, a conflicting IP address, Corrupt CF in the VM, lost licenses, defective blade. I suggest calling in a trained qualified NEC tech. Especially since this has happened once before. I would also have the tech set up a night mode that bypasses the AA so in a case like this calls can still be answered by extensions.
