I'm new to this forum and decided to use it for the first time. Anyway, I'm having a problem with incoming calls dropping after one ring on an executone M32 telephone set. The user is assigned a DID. My PBX is an Executone Eclipse 2.5 with a PRI card. The user see's the call ring and display on his phone once, and then it drops. Any ideas what may be causing the calls to drop? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I dont know anything about the Executone switch; but I guess you have checked the obvious things....such as
call foreward? or other features. Does this happen on all calls and only to this DID Station? Tried another phone?....Station port..
Is this person able to call out ok? What do you hear when you call this station? Just some things to check.

Good Luck

thanks for replying twofeathers. Yes I have checked the obvious things on the user's phones. Call forwarding, in/out, send calls features were not activated. the problems occurs intermittenly with only external incoming calls. the user can make outgoing calls just fine. I did not try assigning a new port to the extension. I'll give that a shot. I spoke with the user today and he provided me with additional info. He informed that in the past his phone has "frozen". meaning he couldn't dial or receive calls for up to 30 minutes. Nothing else on the phone would work. The new info adds to your suggestion of swapping the port. Or it leads me to think I may have a bad card on my hand. Thank you for your help!
