I have an SV8300 with an auto attendant.
When a caller calls in they can enter the users extension and the call will be transferred to the user.
When the call is transferred to the user the incoming caller ID is the extension of the voicemail.
Is there any way to forward the caller ID to the end user?

It sounds like the voice mail is programmed for an attended transfer. Depending on the voice mail system it needs to be set for a release transfer.

What is the VM system and I could provide further instruction.

I have the same thing on the SV8500. Except my voicemail is programmed for release transfer, so after about the first ring of the transferred call, the caller ID switches from the voicemail ext to the caller ID of the outside caller. So I think gmannati is right: you have to change the setup of your voicemail system. What system do you have?
