Hi All

I have a couple of treads on already and I really did appreciate the feedback.
But I have another one. I’m working on an option 11 and it has a primary PRI coming in.
There are 2008 & 500 model phones on site. The 2008 do display the caller Id from internal and external calls, but I would like to how to enable this feature for the 500 analogue extensions. So all information would be deeply acceptable please

You will need a Class Modem Card and Licenses to do this

Hi I have read somelike that in other treads
does it matter what version of software your running

ok
as for this class modem card is there a part number, or is there any way of checking the software for it rather than talking of the cover and looking to see if ot is installed

LD 20
REQ: ltn
TYPE: cmod

If no TNs show then you don't have one. It's a NT5D60

Thanks for the info Stanley & KCFLHRC
But is looks like we dont have one
so I guess analogue is all they will be getting

I began looking for CID info for 500 sets and came accross this thread. I had trouble getting CID working today on an OPT 61.
I was also under the impression that a Modem card was required. Did the ltn in ld 20 and found they have 31 TNs programed in loop 24.
Set cls is CNIA, still no CID.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated

You need 2 things to have incoming caller ID on a 500 set...at least in the legacy nortel world...
(I'm still on older software on a 61C, maybe they include the CLASS license now for all TDM sets....if you're on newer releases this may no longer apply)
From Load 117
INV GENERATE
INV PRINT CARDS
you should see a class modem card like the following:
XCMC, 012 1 01, NT5D60AA

On my system ld10, it says:
ANALOGUE TELEPHONES AVAIL: 80 USED: 912 TOT: 992
CLASS TELEPHONES AVAIL: 20 USED: 130 TOT: 150 <---------
WIRELESS TELEPHONES AVAIL: 0 USED: 0 TOT: 0

On my release (4.5) if you don't have keycoded 'class' licenses, you're SOL....
Hope this helps,
