I am of need of some help please. I need to capture a specific incoming ani replace that 10 digit number with an internal 5 digit number and route it to the right internal extension that the 10 digit number orginally dialed. Does anyone know how to do this

What version of PBX are you working off of? G3 series or S-series? If G3 version, perform a "change trunk group x" with x being the trunk group of your incoming circuit. On the third page, you will see incoming call handling treatment. The first column is service feature. Enter other on this line. Next column is called length. Enter 4 here. The third column is called number. Enter here the last 4 digits of your inbound DID you are routing. The fourth column will be delete digits. Enter a 4 here. The fifth column will be insert digits. Here you will enter the five digit extension in which you wish to route the DID to. Its the same procedure for S-series servers but you must do a "Change incoming-call handling treament Trunk Group x" command instead. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have tried that with all types of combinations of 5,7,10 digits but when i call with my cell phone it still shows my cell number instead of the inserted digits. Although the carrier is suppose to only send five

Thanks guys i got it. I made a xmobile station with orgination mapping with the incoming ani as the cell phone number of the number i wanted to change and it replaces it with the xmobile 5 digit number
