I am trying to setup an ICR that plays different messages and routes differently than my main AA. If I point the ICR to the existing, working AA, it works great.

If I point it to a new Start Point with logic pasted directly from the working AA, I get a "number not found" from the carrier. It never makes it inside the IPOffice. There is no record of the call.

The new start point is called GV. In the ICR, I have the destination named exactly that, GV. Do I need to prefix or something? If i put in VM:GV for instance, it dials in and gives me the generic "welcome to ip office" recording.

Using VMPro, not embedded, if that matters…

Thanks!

Do you have the lines connecting from start point to the rest of the call flow? Is there a recording in the call flow? In the ICR do you have the "Line Group ID set correctly?

OK. Figured it out. I did not have a short code set for the Start Point name and pointed to "voicemail node".

Bingo! Hope this helps someone else!

You should not use the voicemail node stuff.
VM:modulename should work in the incoming call route.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
