hi guys, looking for ideas.. what is the correct way to map ICR for example 87330XXX to 1XXX range extension? i put destination 1# and the incoming DID working but not for outgoing caller ID.
other ICR map to 4 digit ext: 8734XXXX dest # (eg: 87341313 for ext 1313) it will work for both outgoing and incoming.
setup: server edition, pri lines on 500v2 expansion, 1k++ users
using SC 9N/Ns is not my option for now as we have lot of numbers

oo ok thanks intrigrant, that helps.. but i think this will make hundreds entries in the ICR, bigger configuration file and slower response Manager..

holdmusic.. no, they send full 8 digit exclude area code..
can you show some example for .s shortcode? not really understand in my situation

You cannot use the .S option because the extension numbers differs from the DDI
If you want to use the .S option you need to renumber the extension numbers from 1XXX to 4XXX and then you can use the .S87330E option.
But if you cannot renumber the extension numbers you must use the MSN tool.

Is that more helpfull? You could have figured that out for your self.

yup i dont think there's other option, i'm going with msn tool..
the problem is we got pri number with last 4 digit start with 0 so cannot straight adapt to our 4 digit ext.

thanks for the input guys! 1 star for intrigrant..
