Mitel 3300
Software Release 8.0.10.7_1

The fault occurs intermittently, Incoming calls to the main DDI number ring on all phones as required and can be answered by lifting the receiver of a ringing handset; when the call is answered there is nobody at the end of the line and then a ‘pause’ of unknown duration occurs, after the user hangs up and the pause has ended all phones start to ring again and the call can be answered by lifting the receiver of a ringing handset.

The config is as follows:
It is set up to ring the keys 300 & 301, These keys should not ring at all because it follows the “call reroute always” option which kicks in immediately. The call reroute always routes the incoming calls to 200 – the ring group. So as far as the customer is aware, the calls are presented to the ring group and immediately ring on every phone

Hope you can help?

Do the answering positions use headsets?

I have heard of delayed speech cutthru on headsets (no one there)

The "Pause" might be the caller being disconnected and calling back.

Hi kwbMitel,

No they dont use headsets.

We suggested that the caller was disconnecting and calling back but apparently the pause is far too short for that.

Thanks.
