Hi there,
I'm running a contact center in Indonesia. I have a case where incoming calls from customer is sometimes cut off in the middle of conversation. I have contact local network carrier, and they've run test to check the link and the result is ok. I've check the pbx as well and not found any issue. One thing certain is before the line cut off there always a clicking sound in the background.
Any help and suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks

What parts of the call are VoIP? Are you routing calls from another geographic area to Indonesia?

'Knows enough to be dangerous. Wait... make that really dangerous.'

Could also be ISDN clock slipping particularily with the clicking before hand

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

can you please post the command to see if there is a clock slip on ISDN. Thanks

If you are using DS1 cards and T1/E1's for your inbound calls I would suggest doing a:

"list measurements ds1 log [board location]"

make sure you are not taking any errors on any of them.

If you are taking on slip errors this indicates a clocking issue. You can easily correct this yourself.

If you are taking on any other errors, open a ticket with your provider.

good luck!
