Problem description:
An incoming call from the analog trunk (module ATM 16) is not answered by the IPO and the user listen the ring-back tone.

I’m testing a lots of ports with a lot of different configurations (loop start, ground start, loop start ICLID) sending the call for different targets like extensions or the IVR (VMPRO).
The IPO never answer the call.

For the outcoming calls this ports work OK.

Another question:

It is possible for incomings calls from an analog trunk to bring a secondary tone and the user dial an extension or an outcoimng call (forwarding). Why ?

Any help will be welcomed.
Thanks

Gustavo

With regard to the incoming call are you looking at call the call status application to identify if it is reaching the system. I suspect you may have a ring detection issue. There are some settings on the analogue line that control the ring detection you may have to have a look at those.

As for the secondary dial tone feature that is part of VM pro. If you have VM pro have a look at the excises on VMpro it shows how to configure your Auto attendant.

We have also seen the incomming call probloem, if the dest group is a collective ring grp & a call comes in on a trunt imeadiatly after the previous call has been cleared down it willnot ring on the IPO.

I also tried various settings for the analog trunk with no success.

This fault is currently with Avaya Tech Support
