Incoming Call Drops when in middle of tranfer

Our incoming calls are dropping when a new call comes in while our attendant is in the middle of transferring a previously received call.

Is this normal?

All incoming calls route to the attendant who uses a 2420 set.

We have IPO V. 3.0.44, 4 analog trunks and embedded VM.
 
No, this is not suppossed to happen. Be sure that your attendant is transferring calls correctly. Transfer - Number - Transfer. NOT Transfer - Number - Hangup.
 
Yes, the 2400s are supported. See below:

Make sure you flashed the firmware for the 24xx phone. By default they have Definity firmware.

i have one ip office and definity. i connect the ip office with the definity (voip) and is working OK!!! exept from the tranfer. if i make call from the ip office to the definity and the guy at the def..try to transfer me its working. FROM the ip office site the transfer is not working. it cut me the line.
do i have to do some thing at the ip office????? only the transfer is not working for the ip office
