Hi,

All, i am wondering if you guys can help me.

I have the following IP500 set up

System configuration

I500 v2

PRI trunk with 16 lines.

ncoming route digit is 4
---------------

I set up all the phone that has the edding 9669 go to group MAIN 200. (Which has only 2 extensions which are 2 ip endpoints)

My question is how come all other extension also rings when 9669 number dialed in? Thank you all!

I would imagine that you have a "catch all" incoming call route that rings all of the phones. If this is the case then when people call the test number your incoming routing digits are not matching so it sends the call to the incomming call route with no digits or what we call the "catch all" route.

Thank you for your quick reply.

That's what i thought too. But I did a simple test by

routing the number 9669 to the external phone number then it works. Which means that the routing did catch the 9669 and route to the external but some how when i route to the internal groups or extension it doesn't work.

javaNetWork, send the .cfg file to my home address from the site in my signature below and I'll take a look if you like :)

Just curious. What Release of software are you on? R6? Also I would check to see that the huntgroup wasn't out of service accidentally.

Hi

The release of the software is R6.

Huntgroup is in service mode.
Fall back set to <none>

Run a monitor trace with the option ARS ans Short Codes enabled in the Calls filter, the monitor output should answer your question.

how many incoming call routes do you have?
like intrigrant said do a monitor trace with also the ISDN checkmarks enabled and post it, that will show what the incoming number and the digits sent by the CO as well as the target etc. then we can look at it more detailed.
If you don't have too many incoming call routes then delete them and add them one by one again should you not want to go through the monitor hell.

Thank you for your helps.

I get it fixed.

What i did is to delete all the icr and create one by one. After that it works perfectly. Thanks
