I have designed a manual to be printed in the far east, but would also like to have an interactive version for the company website.

I have added a few 'next page' tabs and anchor points from the contents page to the relavent page..

.. While I'm still new to all this interactive-lark, what else do you think can be done to spruse it up. Any suggestions?

Indesign is really a print page layout app. Yeah, they have some of this interactive stuff for it, but it's not Indesign's purpose.

If you want to use some of the pdf interactivity, that would be ok but don't use Indesign for any web work. There's a reason that it does not export html.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

The amount of interactivity you have in it is fine and InDesign is suited for this. InDesign is not just a printed page layout app.

You may have reached the limit of usefulness of the interactivity in this particular piece. This document is not structured for screen display so don't expect users to keep the file open long enough to make extensive use of any advanced interactivity.

Check out the free PDF downloads from to see what kind of interactivity can be realized in InDesign.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, and I will check out the link asap.

I noticed there was an xml incorporation into InDesign, what can xml offer in a fairly 'brief' paragraph?

Thanks for your time.
