Hi I needed to know how can I specify the height and width size in inches for a cell in a table?
For example
<TD height=.75inches width=1.25inches>hola</td>
Thanks

try &quot;in&quot; instead of &quot;inches&quot;

Do inches actually work? Or is that an IE-only thing? And doesn't the actual size of the displayed <td> depend on your monitor's dpi?

its not something i would design with -- i stick with pixels, points and percentages

why would anybody actually want &quot;inches&quot;? monitors do not work with inches ... they work with pixels ...

as far as pts, that's a print measure and is different on any given monitor ... however, a px is ALWAYS a px no matter what monitor or browser you're using :)

... for more on the pixel/point thing ....

as far as inches go, i'd stay completely away from them
