I'm having a problem making outbound calls....below is the copy-paste of what shows in the SysMonitor. The user just gets a 'Call Rejected' message and tone on their phone.

Whats wierd is that inbound calls work fine! Anybody have any ideas?

Outbound needs a valid DID number as proof of an authorized call. IPO can send whatever ID you like to the provider.
If the number sent is rejected by the provider then you can experience this issue.
Has you PRI circuits changed recently?

I asked the provider to turn on inbound caller ID last week. But the inbound caller numbers are still showing as anonymous so I don't think that they did anything yet.

A week ago I installed CBC on the box, it complained about a license so I just uninstalled it...not sure if that can be related. The outgoing problem started today.

In the log it is sending a DID number out...but like you said it is rejecting it.

turn on layer 3 in the trace it is more readable
also turn on line in Call & you will be able to find a human readable clear cause.

Computers are like Air conditioners:-
Both stop working when you open Windows

Who is the provider? Like CarGoSki says, some providers will only allow calls that have an outgoing caller ID that matches a did on the account. Broadview in the States is one.

Looked at the logs with the level 3 and call enabled....this looks like the most relevant part.....can anybody decode this?

The telephone number is being sent when the user dials out. In the shortcode it has 'Nsi' followed by the number...and it is the correct number thats always worked in the past.

The traces you have provided show a 631878xxxx number. Is that number your main number or Billed To Number? If not you should enter in NsiBTN as the outgoing ID.

In either case you should call your provider to have them trap an outgoing call. You can tell them what number you are sending and they can tell you what they have received. From there you should be a short distance to resolution.
