Does anyone know if inbound caller ID (sent as * ANI * DNIS *) on a T1 is supported by IP Office? We have an IPO 412 (2.1.27) with a Qwest T1. We have three 800 numbers pointed to the T1 and Qwest was sending * ANI * DNIS *. I couldn’t get the 800 numbers to route correctly, so I had Qwest take off the *’s and ANI, and just send a four digit DNIS. Call routing works fine with receiving the DNIS, but I can’t figure out how to receive the * and ANI, if it can be done.

Thanks!

I bet it is because your Incomming Routing Digits is still set to 4 in the Advanced tab of your T-1 Line options, change it to 0 and it will work.

Thanks for the info. I did go and set the digits to 0. For the Incoming Call Route, how would I set the incoming number to reflect * ANI * DNIS *? Would it take the format of: *XXXXXXXXXX*4444*, with X representing the 10 digit ANI and 4444 representing the DNIS?

We have three 800 numbers coming inbound, wouldn't we have to use Incoming call routing to send the numbers to the correct places?

I am sorry, I meant that you didn't have to add anything to the normal DNIS coming in.

If you have three 800 numbers with the DNIS of 1000, 1001, and 1002, create Incoming Call Routes for each one. Just remember to only use the DNIS digits being sent by the provider. The caller ID will work in the background.

Works perfectly now. Thanks for your help!
