We have a customer using a sip trunk and everything is working fine except there is no name presented on their 9608G phones. They receive the full 10 digit number from the caller but there is no name presented. When we go to the call log to look at the missed or received calls in more detail, we see the 10 digit number follow by @ipaddress of the sip trunk provider. I assumed at first this was the providers issue, but if I log into monitor the 10 digit number is displayed along the the name of the party calling.
In monitor it shows the caller's name where I have placed "Proper Name", see below:
From: "Proper Name"<sip:xxxxxxxxxx@192.168.1.241>;tag=5bb963a7
Call-ID: Njk3YmFkMWFlMTZlY2VlZjQyMDBkODZiZjM1YjM5OTE.
But on the phone itself it just shows:
xxxxxxxxxx@192.168.1.241
Any ideas on settings within the IP Office to show the callers name?
