Stupid question. I have an Ip403 that has 6 copper lines that are set to a hunt group with 10 people for that hunt group. The call comes in and 'group rings' that hunt group. Now the issue is if the receptionist is on the phone it doesn't ring her phone on the second call appr. Is there a way to have multiple call appr's inbound.

Thanks,

Vmail

If calls are coming to a group then they won't appear at an extension already on a call, its the group that controls call distirbution to try and find someone thats free and can take the call.

You could try Hunt Group call Waiting, it must be set on and also (to the best of my knowledge) be on for all the group members and only for a group ring mode group.

If your receptionist has SoftConsole set one of the queues to monitor the group. That will show calls waiting and allow hold and answer next. Otherwise program a group button.

Another option is to put the operator into a group on their own and then over flow to the others after the over flow time.

This would give your operator a chance to answer the calls first and if you set up phone manager pro or soft console with a queue it will show the operator the waiting callers

[cheers]
