I have two tables in which I need to link:

Quelist.CallId --> Calls.ID

Can this be done?

Note: The Quelist table also has an ID field. By default, the visual linker tries to link the two ID fields, which aren't even supposed to link.

Sure, you can link to whatever you'd like, from whatever you'd like.

In the database tab of the File->Options you can deselect the Auto-SmartLinking to prevent Crystal from guessing at the way to link.

In the Visual Linking Expert (Database->Visual Linking Expert) click the and select Delete Link. Left click and hold the field you wish to link from, and drag it to the field you wish to link to, Crystal will set up the join.

Select Link Options to change the join type.

Slight typo:

In the Visual Linking Expert (Database->Visual Linking Expert) click the current link and select Delete Link. Left click and hold the field you wish to link from, and drag it to the field you wish to link to, Crystal will set up the join.
