What system are you using? What type of lines, and how many? What model phone?

You can use single co keys 1 per channel or Group co keys per trunk group. I tend to use group co keys and assign 2-4 depending on how busy the user is going to be, ie holding, transferring, conference calls etc. Also you may want to enable auto call waiting under extension settings option 2.
