I have just installed IMS and have associated all my users mailboxes to their email accounts, and voicemails are making it to email. I havent installed the IMS clients yet and was wondering if that is the peice that enables the message to be deleted from their voicemail box if it where checked through email?

yes, the client does need the ims client software. this allows outlook to change the message status file in that specific account folder. do not install the client on the server, just the clients pcs

Thanks Buddy. Thats what I thought when the message was not being delete from voicemail when it was checked through email. Also the 3.2 Docs arent completely clear about what type of OS is needed to support VMPro and IMS. I know that VMPro + CCC = a server OS but what about VMPro and IMS? On the knowledge base its under installation-VMPro then installation types and requirements then requirements.

Yes you definately need a server operating system, make sure it is NOT Small Business version.

Thanks again.
