Has anyone heard of a fix for the conflict for the IMS client with Windows XP SP? IT will not run when setup XP SP2, disabling the firewall seems to help but it still will not work.
XP sp2 not supported yet, however create a new account on the ims server i.e. imsusers and allow everyone access to it including domain users.Then set the voice mail account on the ims server to use this account against each users mail box.
Assuming Spanning's suggestion resolves the IMS Login Error 0x800706ba - I'd say that's a great solution, especially when one is dealing with a large number of workstations.

VM Pro is required for IMS to work
therfor all ims software is included on the CDS pro cd.
check the documents on your documents cd
