Hi,

I just upgraded to the 3.0.59 release of IPO and have some problems with IMS.

My environment is Win 2003 for the voicemail/IMS server, Exchange 2003 and Win XP SP2/Outlook 2003 on the workstations. IP Office box is a 403.

I had everything working great with IMS on the 2.1 release. Win XP has the SP2 configuration changes for DCOM. No XP firewalls are running.

After the upgrade, IMS doesn't seem to keep the voicemail box in synch with the email. Marking messages read/unread will sometimes change the message waiting light and sometimes not. Sometimes it will after a long wait (1-2 minutes). Deleteing an email message will not remove the message from the voicemail. But deleteing voicemail from the phone will delete the email.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

bug after bug with IMS. I had it logged, received 3.0.18 from Avaya and it fixes the synch side of things....if you listen to the msg through Outlook, the MWI goes out. But if you delete it from Outlook after, it keeps it as a saved message.

During tests, we would leave a msg, but for some reason no messages were being left. After a long time, we found that no messages under 5secs were being left - anything over that and it would be fine.

So don't bother with 3.0.18 - wasted a whole afternoon at site with a version I had been told fixes the issues.

Are they fixing the problem? or is it roll back to a previous version time?

Thanks,

3.0.19 apparantly fixes most of this now - including scanning of folders!

think some of the synch is still playing up, mainly deletion from the email side and it not getting deleted from Old messages. Not the end of the world though....if it fixes the scanning, then I think that will keep people happy!
