Hello,

is it possible to get only the actual date ( today ) from a column of date specifications?
Without a prompt box, if possible.

A filter in a way like: columnA = today()

ahstyx.

You should have both the today() function and now() functions available in the expression editor under functions. One is the database time, the other the local workstation time. I've lost track of which is which, but the help tips should make it clear. Either one can be used with a filter statement.

The now() function uses the database time (and is better to use since it does not invole local processing) while the today() function uses your local time.

Thanks!

today() function returns the current date according to date set on your computer.

now() function returns the current date and time of the computer on which the database software runs.

Thank you all for the answers.
They were helpful.
