Impromptu Web print report and subreport with 1 click

I have created a report and an unrelated sub report. Each can be one or many pages based on the data. We only have Impromptu Web reports, not Report Net.

C Sharp system calls Impromptu through URL so user can view the report and then print. The user does not like drilling through to the subreport to print.

The process is the user makes changes to data in a C sharp application. There is a button to call the Impromptu report. The report opens in Cognos Web, the user reviews the main report and clicks print, then clicks for the drilldown and clicks print. He wants both reports to print seamlessly.

Do you mean you wish to use the C# front end to pass eg. URL parameters to the COGNOS server (much like, and instead of, the Impromptu report prompts) to get to the final drilldown report?
