Hi there,

I have created a crosstab Impromptu-report, which fits perfectly well on one page, if I am looking at it on my monitor. Unfortunately the guy, for who the report is intended can only see approx. the half of it, the rest is cut off, and if I am using my notebook it is the same effect.
My question now is: how is it possible to create a report an ensure, that everyone is able to see it as it was intended? I believe there has to be an option, as it is often the case that there are many different monitor sizes in use in a company...

I really appreciate any help!

Hello to you,

Is it design on Impromptu Web or Impromptu for Windows?

Because I have experience only with Impromptu for Windows. What I can say about that problem is habitually the cut off is due to the different print driver install on computers. In each driver the paper size can be a little bit different so for each user (or driver) I had to specify different size of paper and save the report on another name for them.

Hope it will help you

Sorry for my poor english hehehe

Hi,

thank you very much - I am using Impromptu for Windows so your solution should fit perfectly well. Have I understood it correctly that I have to do the specifications on the users PC and there is no possibility to do this in a "remote" way?

Thank you very much again & have a nice day :)

Hello,

Your welcome ;-)

At my job I had no other choice than go on the PC user to find out what was the correct paper size for his print driver. I had to do it because our PC's are lock so I was not able to install the user print driver on my PC.

If you can insatll the same driver it could help you to do it direcly on your PC. If i'm not wrong you can install a print driver even if the printer is not connected on your PC.

You could also use remote control functionnality of windows to do it on the user PC if you can.

Regards
