I have an old Premier RUF 2704 Impressions on Hold device.

On the side is a handset jack, which I believe will allow me to record a custom greeting.

I am not too computer savvy on downloads.

Can anybody direct me to the instruction manual?

Thank you All!

Is this what you're looking for (see attachment)?

libellis, I saw those, but there are no real instructions on how to record my own message?

Wondering if you have the security code for the device? If you do, have you tried to play around with the device a bit, since it provides verbal prompting? Maybe connect a phone to the port shown on the datasheet and see what the mode button (switch?) does. Of course, if you don't have the security code, likely no point to the whole exercise.

I did hook up a handset, and if I hold down the record button the device plays 4 tones through my speakers.
I may have forced the erasure of the previous script.
But I am still having issues trying to record a new script.

That looks to be a different Premier Technologies with no related products now or in its history. The one that made the box was based in Long Lake, Minnesota and seems to be out of business. Its URL (www.premtech.com) leads to a 403 forbidden page.

Out of curiosity I called the 800 number I saw on a data sheet from the Premier Technologies in Long Lake, MN and got an autoattendant greeting from a company called Solutions on Hold (https://sohinc.com). They look to be the descendant of Premier Technologies since they still sell an on hold box that was made by Premier (different and newer model from the one in this post), although they mostly sell professional on hold message recordings rather than hardware.

That's the company to contact (all details at their URL).
