Impossible to open a file *.mdb (access) by clicking on it

When I click on a MDB file (Microsoft access), a message appears : 'Managed Software Installer can't install the program associate with the file';when I open these files with 'OPEN WITH', its good. <br>
According to me, it's a windows 98 problem or a microsoft access one.<br>
Who could help me to resolve this problem.

Are you using Office 2000? Mine works and I am running win98 se and Office 2000.<br>
Try in explorer:<br>
View<br>
Folder Options<br>
File types<br>
<br>
See if you have Microsoft Access Application listed. If you have it highlight it and click on edit. Make sure the action is open.<br>

If you do not have it add it. Try this first if it does not work let us know

I'm working with Office 97 and yesterday afternoon, I found the solution : I deleted the link between MDB and MSACCESS in View<br>
Folder Options<br>
File types.<br>
And I receated it.<br>
