What's the best way to import a visio drawing into Frame? I've tried saving the drawing as JPEG, GIF, EPS and PNG and none really give a good result - lines appear over chunky, text is distorted and distiller (5.0) won't distill the document with an EPS in it.

Any help appreciated...

What versions of Visio and FrameMaker are you using?

We have had good luck with eps and have not seen the distiller problem you describe. (Are you distilling via the Distiller printer driver?)

Some of our documents use pasted OLE Visio graphics that the writers can click on and revise using Visio within the FrameMaker document. Once again, these distill fine for us.

We are mostly using FM5.5.6 and Visio circo 2000 AD.

Can you save or export your Visio drawing into PDF format and then import the PDF into Frame? PDF files work really well if you're using FreeHand and Frame.

Visio allows saving a graphic in WMF, if you do that you can import it in FM without problems.
