How do you import tiffs created in photoshop into
pagemaker with a transparent background without having to usea clipping path? In the FAQ area it was suggested that
one go to image/mode/bitmap and then save as a tiff.
I did this and when placed in pagemaker the background
was transparent but the file is very rasterized, both on
screen and when printed.

Thanks-JP

ps. this is a very simple a black and white logo.

Set Image Resolution to High (general settings or page settings .., somewhere). Greg

Ocampo: Transparency can be handled in PM only for TIFF or EPS
with clipping paths. Sometimes it´s necessary to rotate 0.01° ,
otherwise transparency is shown as white (a bug).

Gernot- Rotating it worked. Has adobe
worked this out in 7.0? Thanks a million
for your help!
