Importing Text File 2

I have a text file that is not comma delimited and it has bunch of fields in it. When I try to export it into access it puts data for all the fields under one field "Field1" ... I guess bcz the file is not comma delimited. How could I import it into access corectly.

You can use any number of things for a delimiter. How is the file laid out? Can you post a few lines?

The data above is for 10 fields.

I know the field names. When I import data into access I like the above data to break out and be assigned to the right field names.

This looks to me like fixed width. I guess you must know where the breaks occur, so you can use the text import wizard and click in breaks at the right points. If you save the specification (advanced), you can use it again.

Choose fixed length instead of delimited.
