Hi,
My question is :

Is it possible to import a text file (file.txt) into excel. For exemple i whant that each lines of text file, fill up each row of a specific column.

Yup - just go to File>Open
Change the file type to Text files (via the little drop down box)
Select your text file. You will then enter the text file import wizard which will allow you to specify how you want the file imported (fixed width or delimited) Rgds

hi ~Geoff~

there is a little problem, my excel file is a model, (it include formula, column headers an ect). From this model, i need to import values located in text file, without losing what was on the excel sheet before. The trick u gave me seems to erase all other data.

You can link to a text file using the Get external data, New database query

This lets you get at the data into a sheet via an Acess type query. You can even link two csv files and use them like a relational database

Once in the sheet you can Vlookup or advance filter and use the data where you want
