what is the best way to copy queries and reports from one database to a duplicate database on another machine?

thanks [sig][/sig]

Are the two PCs connected via a network? If so, just use the File>Get External Data>Import command to import whatever is required.

Do this from the database receiving the data.

Hope this helps.

thanks lightning - you certainly are,

however the two pcs are not connected. if i email the queries and reports could they then be imported in the way you suggest?

Yes, but they need to be e-mailed inside a database.

Simply copy what you need to a blank database using the Get External Data command, email the database and then import to the recipient database the same way.

Happy E-mailing!
