Importing on a schedule

Hi all,

Is there an easy way in VBA to set Access to automatically import a file on a schedule (ie. once a week, once a month, etc.) without the user having to initiate the procedure?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

You can use the windows scheduler, or you can programmatically check a calendar table each time the application is opened.

I think the Windows Scheduler option will work perfectly for what I need, thanks Remou. In addition to this question, is it possible to set up a specific procedure within Access VBA to run at a particular time? Can this also be done through the scheduler or would some VBA code be required to trigger it?

I would suggest either vbscript or the /x command line switch for Access.
