I am looking for tips on importing old config to new IP office to avoid having duplicate extensions and other issues. End of lease getting new equipment and want to bring in old config file with no issues.

If the hardware layout is the same, just push the offline config into the new control unit.

If there are substantial differences, export the ARS, Auto Attendants, Directory, Groups, Incoming Call Routes, Short Codes, Time Profiles, Users, and User Rights as BINARY (.exp)

On the new system, delete all of the Users, Groups, Short Codes, and User Rights, import the Binary config, make the rest of the tweaks, change the extension numbers on the extension ports, and you'll be good.
