Hi,

Every month I create several batch lists which are almost identical from month to month. I would like to know if there is a way that I could simply update an existing list in Excel, for example and import the information into a new batch that I wish to create.
Alternately is it possible to take an existing batch which has been posted and use it as a starting point for creating a new batch?

I'm new to ACCPAC since I've just started in a new position where I'm using it daily.

Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

I assume you're talking about journal entry batches, and yes, it is possible. The easiest way to see the Excel layout is to export a batch that has not yet been posted (once it's posted you cannot open it any more) and look at how it is laid out. Pay particular attention to the data types of the fields. You won't need all the fields but some of them are required.
