Importing .dgn files into Auto-CAD

I've received some .dgn files and I want to import them into Auto-CAD, but it isn't working, is there anybody who can tell me how I can do this or is it impossible?

Microstation can convert dgn files to dwg. Have the person that sent you the microstation drawings convert them to dwg for you. I do not believe autocad can do this.

If you have AutoCAD Map you can open the .dgn and save it as a .dwg. There are a few problems on converting it, but 95% of all .dgn files can be converted.
