Hi,

I have a number of DTS packages which import data over night into a SQL database, the data is imported from a dbase file

Just recently, one of the packages has been going wrong, and nothing in the package has changed.

When importing it errors when importing and says
"Error Description:Data for source column 1 ('PCODE') is not available."
"Error Description:Record is deleted."
"Error Description:The search key was not found in any record."

I have tried importing into access but to no joy, I really dont know what the problem and foremost how to fix the problem.

Any one got any ideas??????

cheers

Verfiy if there any changes on dbase side. It looks like some filds have changed. Verify the trasnformation in DTS package.

Good Luck.

This can be corrupted .dbf file - messed up header or premature Ctrl-Z character within record area.
