Importing Data to SQL

I am trying to execute a DTS from a Stored Procedure in SQL 2000
Can any body help?
Or any other way of importing Excel Spreadsheets from an asp page would be appreciated.

you can import text, excel, and some other types of files into access database. from there, you can import to sql server, etc. you may also be able to import directly into sql server.

I have got a DTS to import the data from excel to SQL.
i am trying to create a Stored Procedure to run the DTS so a user can trigger it from a front end

Don't go outside the bounds of what you really need to include (steps that is) in getting you package executed. Simply do it from the code.
