importing AutoCAD file without losing Line Weights

How do I import a CAD file without losing the line weights?

Currently I import the CAD file in PDF format and it works well, but reduces all line to the same thickness.

Is there any suggestions?

I use Corel Draw 9(home) and 10 (work)

Try DXF out from cad and import that into Corel

In addition to what FreshJava mentioned, there might be an option to use polylines... that may or may not help.
