Also posted this on the MS office board, but thought I would cross post to here...
I found a card for a company called Kemetech ( that says they can take reports from AS/400 spool files and convert them over to Excel files.
I was wondering if there was a way to easily do this with text files (they convert to text if I move them from the AS/400 to my PC).
Aside from importing text is there a way to get all the data in it's rightful place? What I'm looking for is a starting guide to doing something like this from scratch. J.R. Juiliano
