I am trying to import a group of emails from a survey into an Access table. I can do it using Outlook's export to text (windows) feature, but that makes for a tedious process that some of my users may not be able to do. The email also comes in with all of the email junk (ie tomail, frommail, and body tags).

Is there a direct method to do this?
Is there an easy way to omit the Email tags?

All of the emails in the folder are formatted as follows;

unique_key (tab) answer_1
unique_key (tab) answer_2
unique_key (tab) answer_3
etc. etc.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have Access 97 or later, you can use the Import Exchange/Outlook Wizard to import a mail folder (Inbox or other) to Access. You can also use the Link Exchange/Outlook Wizard to Link a mail folder to Access. Perhaps you ould then write code to extract the data from the Email messages and update the appropriate tables. Of course, all surveys should be mailed to the same email address. Terry

thanks Terry

I guess I neglected to mention that i had tried to export to access using the wizard. I does not keep the tab delimitted fields aligned properly. It places them all in one field.
