Hi..
Im trying to import an ACT 3.0 db into outlook 2000 sr1 contact.

When I run the import wizard in outlook, it identifies the act file but then tells me act needs to be installed.

I dont have act, I d/loaded the latest trial version (7)but the issue is still the same. Anyone know another way to get this db into contacts?

Also tried looking for act converters in the office website, didnt find any.

Cheers

Are you sure that it's telling you Act needs to be installed? Or does the Outlook converter need to be installed? - this would be on the Office CD.

Well, I would think it would be the converter BUT Ive just gone back and checked it out, its definently telling me AT needs to be installed..... Ive actually found another way around this, but out of curiosity, does anyone know how long ago symantec sold act off?
