Important maintenance commands?

Hi,

In your own experience, what are the necessary commands that i should run for my monthly maintenance in my avaya pabx. I have S8720 with two G650 in one port network.

You should be checking the alarm log on a daily basis.

"disp ala"

Also check events log.

"disp even"

The system should be set to automatically backup to flash drives etc. This should have a full backup done nightly and also a separate translations backup.

Go through the web browser and look for the backup link and check what is set here.


Others would say you should be patching all the cards with the latest firmware as a matter of course; others would say if it's not broke don't fix it!!! But that's another debate
