Import Wizards does not start

When trying to import some csv and xls files the import wizard fails to start and Access hangs. There is no error message and it seems tro be random as sometimes it will work and on a similar file it will not.
Any help?

If none of the other geniouses in here come up with a good answer, I would try to remove reinstall Access.
